Gender ideology is one of the most pervasive and powerful cultural trends today. Its rise to prominence is all the more whiplash-inducing for its virtual absence even just a few years ago. Who would ever have predicted 20 years ago, or even 10, that people could lose their jobs or parents access to their kids for “misgendering” someone? Who would even have known what misgendering was? Who would have thought “What is a woman?” could be a complicated question? If things as basic as these are now up for grabs, how are we to navigate our increasingly confusing world?

It is in response to this dizzying state of affairs that the Colson Center has arranged our latest Breakpoint Forum. For this episode, we are pleased to invite Dr. Miriam Grossman and Dr. Stephen Grcevich. These experts in the field of child and adolescent psychiatry will help us wade through the confusing waters of gender ideology, offering clarification, guidance, and, most of all hope that we do not need to abandon reality to care for those caught up in gender ideology.
