In the 50 hours of Marriage Education, Divorce and prevention training from the Robbins Madanes Center for Strategic Intervention, I learned which "level" a couple is currently operating in and provided the strategies to move them toward Level 4, the ideal couple level.

Level 1 is the "Selfish" Level (All for Self)

Focus is entirely on one's own needs and survival.

Level 2 is the "Bartering" Level (The Business Deal)

I also learned about "neutralizing the divorce blueprint", Identifying the internal rules or past traumas that make a person see divorce as the only option.

I learned about the 6 Human Needs in a Couple and analyzing how partners often meet their need for Significance by fighting and how to shift that into meeting the need for Love and Connection.

I learned about Polarity and Attraction which meant understanding how to restore the "spark" by balancing masculine and feminine energies within the relationship.

I learned about Strategic Communication for Couples, it is the Specific language patterns to de-escalate "hot" arguments and move into productive problem-solving.

And lastly, I learned about family ecology, how the marital relationship serves as the "foundation" for the children, especially in families navigating the complexities of a disability diagnosis.
